Grandpa Fory's Last Visit Home

Here's some rough footage of Grandpa's last visit to his home. After visiting his empty house yesterday, all the knick-knacks, carousel horses, roosters, and glitzy dolls are out of context without Grandma of Grandpa sitting there.

There was some great things I learned about Grandpa Fory at his funeral, and was hoping you all could share some thoughts or memories over the coming days.

Here's the footage:

Sorry about my kid that requires his Thomas Paraphenelia to be in the shot. The next is a 2 minute clip. We love you Fory!

Magic is in the Details

I'm just staying close to the computer and TV today, watching Obama's inauguration. Yipeeee! So exciting. So I noticed that this blog is being neglected *tssk tssk* and remembered I had some pictures of the beautiful table settings at Christmas Eve Dinner. So I thought I would share.

How many sales were hit? How many hours were spent? to make this table setting so gorgeous? (and just as a backdrop to a fabulous dinner)

I'm sorry I don't have more pictures. None of the others turned out so this is all we get. Love you Norma!

Also, in honor of today's historic events, here's a link from Cake Wrecks showing some beautiful (and not so beautiful) Obama Cakes. Check it here.
